Definitions

The Club - 1066swimmers Swimming Club.

Web Links - a collation of links to web sites relevant to swimming, managed by the Club.

Editor - a member of the Club appointed to manage the compilation and maintenance of the Web Links.

Contributors - club members or other web site users who propose a new link, or an update to an existing link, for the Web Links page.

User - any person accessing the Web Links.

Terms and conditions for users

1. The Web Links are made available to Users solely to facilitate them in finding useful information. The Club has no control over the content of linked web sites and shall in no circumstances have any liability whatsoever in respect of any content therein. The Club will not be responsible for any loss, cost or damage incurred by Users arising out of or in relation to the use of these links.
2. The Web Links are made available to Users free of charge.
3. Information held in the Web Links is provided by the Contributors. The Club performs basic validation of the information provided however Users are advised to treat all links with due caution. The Club cannot accept any liability for errors or omissions in the information.
4. The inclusion of a Web Link does not indicate endorsement of the linked site in any way. Neither does it imply that the content of the linked site is suitable or unsuitable for any particular purpose.
5. Title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to the information accessed using the Web Links is the property of the applicable web site owner and may be protected by applicable copyright or other law. Inclusion in the Web Links gives Users no rights to such content.
6. The Club does not collect or process any information relating to Users of the Web Links.
7. If you find a fault in the Web Links operation or have difficulty using this site please use the 'Contact Us' link from the home page
8. If you find errors in the Web Links themselves please use the test button to mark the link as broken or use the update button to propose a correction.

Terms and conditions for contributors

1. All contributions or updates submitted are validated before being made available on the site.
2. Any user may propose a new link or an update to an existing link.
3. The Club reserves the right to modify or delete any Web Link at any time. The Club will not enter into any form of debate about the content of the Web Links outside of the provided update facility.
4. The Web Links editor's decision is final in all matters.
