11 year old Chloe Pollard reached the Final with a pb in the heats in the
100m freestyle and then eased to victory to be crowned Champion in another
personal best time. She also was the first in age group in the 200m IM and
notched up a hat trick of silvers in the 200m butterfly,800m and 400m
freestyle, all in better recorded times.

creditable fifth. The 200m breaststroke saw her claim third, the 200m IM a
sixth place and seventh in the 800m freestyle and all in personal bests along

weekend.

joins the growing list of National swimmers that are emerging from 1066. He
also registered much improved times in both the 50m backstroke and the 100m
IM.
Another bronze was awarded for a local swimmer with Victoria Turner,14,
recording an improved swim in the Final of the 100m freestyle and was fourth
fastest in her age group in the 800m freestyle.

For some this was the first time at Counties from the likes of Harry Dyer,
Sophie Griggs, Carys Williams, Megan Williams, Chloe Baker and Catherine
Welford showing their improvement to reach this high standard of swimming with
many clocking personal bests on the day. Congratulations to all.
