The final round of the Sussex league saw 1066 romp home in style by nearly
100 points to finish the season third in the league. Hosting the gala at the
Eastbourne Sovereign Centre 1066 produced many sterling performances with the
final scoreboard reading 1066 390 points, Eastbourne 295 and Bognor Regis
290.
The 1066 swimmers lead from almost the start and never relinquished their
superiority, stretching their lead with every event.
Head Coach Dave Pollard was very satisfied with the result " This
result is a good benchmark of our progress. The season has produced same
remarkable personal bests and hopefully when next year's Sussex league comes
round we will be even stronger."
The squad for this Meet consisted of Jess Honeysett, Amelia Harrison, Harry
Crotty, Lucy Puddefoot, Harry Turner, Josh Bishop, Chloe Baker, Rebecca Ellis,
