New records at 1066

Portsmouth

A series of high level swimming meets saw a bunch of 1066 swimmers travel between Portsmouth and Crawley to compete against some of the top swimmers in the Country.  

Young Chloe Baker set two personal bests in the 50m breaststroke and 50m freestyle which merited her a top ten finish in the event at Portsmouth.

At the same meet Chloe Pollard broke three 1066 club records in the 200m and 400m freestyle and the 200m backstroke, which in turn earned her Gold in the prestigious competition. She also notched up a silver medal in the 100m backstroke plus a pb in the 50m freestyle.

There were also personal bests for Charlotte Rouncivell in the 200m freestyle, Ellie Williams and Megan Williams both in the 200m backstroke and Adam Rouncivell who set a club record in the 200m freestyle. 

Crawley

The Crawley long course Meet saw Victoria Turner secure gold in the 50m backstroke and silver in the 100m backstroke whilst Ella Watson had top ten finishes in both the 50m and 100m breaststroke events. Chloe Pollard continued her recent success with three top ten finishes in the 100m and 200m backstroke and the 400m freestyle.
